PLANKS AND ABS

I love planking. Not only it has help sculpt my core, it is literally a full body workout as the position engages the glutes, back, shoulders, and arms. There are so many varieties of plank to constantly keep your body guessing. Here are some of my favorite planks: 

Straight Arm Planks

Leg Lifts Plank

Twisting Plank

If my wrists are feeling sore, a forearm plank will be my alternative position.  Remember to always keep hands directly over shoulders, keep your butt down and have FUN!

Also, don’t forget to stretch your core after an intense ab session. Wild thing, you can go into position from a side plank. This pose will not only stretches your core, and also opens your heart
